Lake Pichola is an artificial freshwater lake in the historic city of Udaipur, also known as the City of Lakes. Udaipur is one of the most popular cities in Rajasthan and Lake Pichola is the heart of the city. It is a place of many attractions and romantic sunsets.

A platform is a raised platform in a courtyard where a number of activities can be performed. Natini Ka Chabutra was built to honor Natini – a tightrope walker and has an interesting legend behind it.
Maharaja Jawan Singh promised her half of Mewar if she would walk across the lake. But when she was about to finish, the rope was cut and when she drowned, she cursed the king’s lineage, and all six ranas apparently had no direct descendants after being adopted.

9. Swaroop Sagar Bridge
The ornamental bridge connects Pichola to Sarup Sagar which then connects to Fateh Sagar Lake. Take a walk on the bridge in the evening. All lit up in dim yellow light, the walk will be one to remember.
From afar it resembles a bridge over the Venetian waters. Take a secluded stroll to capture some great images or get away from all the tourist hustle and bustle in the main city areas.
